Introduction

Mud Therapy is a traditional naturopathy treatment that uses natural, clean, mineral-rich mud applied to the body to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, relax muscles, and promote detoxification.

Mud has excellent cooling, absorbent, and soothing properties, making it useful for skin conditions, digestive issues, joint pain, stress, and overall healing.

Procedure

  • Clean, sterilized mud (free from stones/impurities) is prepared by mixing with water to form a smooth paste.
  • Mud is applied over the required body part or as a full-body pack.
  • Thickness usually ½ to 1 inch.
